The OLD SCHOOL METAL MANIA is the 80s Heavy Metal tribute of the KUTTEN4EVER FESTIVAL. This special Heavy Metal disco began to rumble in the Summer of 2003 in the town of GÖTTINGEN/Germany, first experiences with "disco" could be made end of the Eighties.

In the "serious" beginning of the Metaldisco it had got a "crossover" touch, the DJs Skullmaster Hidden and Adrian p played Metal from the past till now, the very special 80s character was still missing in that times. Everything around was managed by EDDIE, who is know manager of the Kutten4ever Festival. The city of Göttingen is very famous for it's university, but only a village talking about HEAVY METAL and a popular Metal scene. Having a HEAVY METAL spirit in this city is not pretty good, in past, present and future.

Eddie, not the IRON MAIDEN figure, but the DJ of the Old School Metal Mania, was born in GÖTTINGEN in 1969, he grew up in a small town on the country-side and living a "old school" life his only aim. Inspired and influenced of the 80s HEAVY METAL he made plans to realize a Metaldisco under this spell. In early 2003 first ideas came up, together with his Metal brothers Skullmaster Hidden and Adrian they went out for more. The MK4 GÖTTINGEN could be interested and in September the first disco was back for the attack. People liked it so every month a new edition was following … till the venue became acoustic problems and had to close it's doors in Summer 2004. But the story of the OLD SCHOOL METAL MANIA didn't stop there, out of any location the Metaldisco acts as "Warming Up" for the X-Mas Metal Meeting in 2004 and 2005, also happening in the city of hell, Göttingen, now with EDDIE as DJ. In 2006 and 2007 the 80s Metaldisco did some performances in the BALLROOM HAMBURG, now the OLD SCHOOL METAL MANIA is out for more !!

The program of the Old School Metal Mania is a treasury for all 80s Metal Manias. We are able to offer US METAL, CANADIAN METAL, NWOBHM, EUROPEAN METAL as well as METAL RARITIES. DJ EDDIE is a Die-Hard IRON MAIDEN fan. He came in contact with the band's music around 1983, in 1986 he could see LIVE AFTER DEATH on VHS by a friend of him. His most favourite IRON MAIDEN records are KILLERS, THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, PIECE OF MIND, POWERSLAVE and LIVE AFTER DEATH. The second "KUTTE" (denim vest with patches) of DJ EDDIE become a real Maiden vest with only Maiden patches and Maiden pins on :-))

A MANOWAR - poser of the fanclub "German Defenders Of Steel" said the wording "The DJ is banging. So what!" on one of the last Metaldiscos. DJ EDDIE is a 100% Metalhead, so he's also joining the Moshpit for giving head (and missing hairs) if it's possible for him. So please don't wonder if you won't see the DJ behind the mixers. He isn't at home, he's still beside of you fighting forthe good old 80s Heavy Metal :-)))
